Do I need a Roadworthy Certificate or Safety Certificate?

It sounds a bit confusing, but it isn’t. These are the exact same thing. The Queensland Department of Transport changed the name of these from Roadworthy Certificates to Safety Certificates back in 1999 — but they still go by ‘Roadworthy’ mostly.

Roadworthy Certificate Inspections — Mobile Mechanics Available

Getting your car out to a workshop when you don’t have a current Roadworthy Certificate can be a bit of a catch 22. We’re fully equipped with mobile mechanic equipment ready to go. So, we can come out to you and complete your car’s inspection before hopefully preparing a Roadworthy Certificate.

Roadworthy Certificate Repairs & Readiness

If your car requires some repairs or adjustments in order to be “roadworthy”, we can work with you on this. We’ll come out totally prepared in case you need a repair. When your car is inspected for a roadworthy, we’ll look at the quality of your tyres, steering, and suspension, as well as structural damage like knocks or rust.
